The story starts on 2006. Bill Kaulitz is been grew up like a girl to his mother Simone, because she wanted to protect him and his twin Tom from the experiments of Mengeles laboratory. Everything changes when Bill falls in love with a SSs doughter and tries to pass himself off as his brother.
Tom is captured by the SS and he is sent in a internment camp. Bill will do everything to make him escape from the camp, so he run to Berlin where he meet the esguterjunge clan, an opposition group leaded by the legendary Bushido.
Vaterland è un universo ucronico, che muove dallipotesi Hitler abbia vinto la seconda guerra mondiale. E il 2006: Bill Kaulitz viene cresciuto come una ragazza dalla madre Simone per evitare che i folli scienziati del gabinetto Mengele lo usino assieme al gemello Tom per esperimenti eugenetici. Tutto cambia quando si innamora della figlia di un ufficiale delle SS e tenta di spacciarsi per il fratello. Catturato dalle SS, Tom viene inviato in un campo di correzione. Pur di farlo evadere, Bill scappa a Berlino, dove fa la conoscenza dellersguterjunge, nucleo di resistenza armata alle dipendenze del leggendario Bushido.
