Thus the most brilliant thieves invent "property rights" to make theft easier and more profitable. If everyone is a counterfeiter, money is worthless. If you want to be a great counterfeiter -- the greatest, perhaps -- your first step is to convince everyone else that counterfeiting is immoral, wrong, evil, and must be punished. Then, you must convince everyone that your own counterfeiting is moral, good, virtuous, and must be rewarded. This is what George Orwell called, "doublethink." In order for us to accept such madness, the wheels of our minds must first be broken by indoctrination. By government schools. Ethics, virtue, morality -- these were not invented and inflicted from any desire to spread goodness, but rather to disarm and enslave others. To disarm and enslave you. The sequence is always the same -- invent a universal standard of good behavior, and then create an invisible exception for yourself and your friends, by calling it something else. I am not Justin Bieber; my class and I went on a trip to Stratford, Ontario in Canada in Sept. 2007 and just happened to see him singing there on the steps of the Avon theater. He was 12 at the time. We had no idea he would blow up on the music scene so fast or so soon after we met him, but we knew he was (and still is) incredible. Also, there is much talking and laughing because a play just got out and people were walking by. Trust me, no one was laughing at him. Actually, all of us were kind of obsessed with him when we saw him, so if there was talking among us, we were probably saying how amazing he is. We did call animal control, there was nothing they could do. As to why I didnt stop filming to help the dog: there were other people around, the dog wasnt mine, I selfishly felt lucky to have something extraordinary to film. If that makes me an idiot... well, that wouldnt exactly be news to anyone in these parts. And no, we never gave food to a deer, but they are all over the place and we probably need some level of government to address the issue before some kid gets hurt. Thats why I filmed and posted this. (?Dont worry, John Wayne, this is in Canada?here we like the government to help with problems individuals cant address alone, it makes us feel like our taxes go somewhere useful. I am not advocating for more government in Texas or Iowa... to each his own, amigo. Incidentally, thats another reason why no guns were involved in this downtown scene.) After this was picked up by digg.com and others, my email account couldnt handle the influx of comments (I stopped at 214 an hour), which is why Im trying to answer questions here.
